No! NOT for sale but a recent addition to our personal collection!
The life and times of Edoardo Weber seen through the eyes of his wife / widow Anna Weber Bolelli.
Tells the, somewhat rose-colored, story of Edoardo's life and history of the Weber company.
Weber is still regarded, in Italy, as one of the fathers of the modern automobile and inventor of the modern carburettor.
The book elaborates on the growth of the Weber company up to the second world war... it very briefly touches upon that period and that faithful day in May 1945, 6 weeks after the liberation of Bologna, that 2 civilians walked into Edoardo's office, who was a member of the Italian Fascist party, took him away in a truck.... only to never be seen again... also his body was never found and as a consequence, his tomb in Bologna is empty...
Issued in 1972, this copy was signed by the author, Anna Weber Bolelli in 1984.
Interesting reading, in Italian!
