The automatic choke mechanisms of the Weber DGAV and Weber DGEV carburetors are known to become cumbersome when they're coming of age.

This can result in a partially activated choke and consequently an overly rich mixture.

This basic kit will replace either an electric choke element or a "water choke".

Please note that this kit only consists of the body and the bracket as depicted.

It doesn't have a spring but a positive action choke cable will suffice.

Alternatively, you can add an external spring.

You do require a choke cable to operate this choke.
