Dellorto Carburetor Diaphragms

Dellorto Carburetor Diaphragms.
On this page you will find our diaphragms (or membranes if you like) for Dellorto carburetors.
These diaphragms for an important part of the carburetor as they enable a smooth transition from idle to "open throttle".
The original diaphragms now tend to suffer from age and the ravages of aggressive modern fuels which causes the "rubberized textile" material to harden and even crack, causing erratic running of the engine and fuel leaks.
Replacing the diaphragm is then the only sensible option. This is a fairly simple affair as they are usually held into place by three or four screws.
As you can see on this page, there are no less that 5 different diaphragms used on the Dellorto DHLA alone...
Luckily, the differences are measurable as they concern the diameter of the dish and the height of the cam.
So, to determine which diaphragm is the correct one for your DHLA, you would need to disassemble the original diaphragm and measure it.
We strongly advise against experimenting with different size diaphragms.
We can supply the following versions:
Number | Dish Diameter | Cam Height |
7515 | 25,1 mm | 13,3 mm |
9583 | 25,1 mm | 12,8 mm |
9667 | 22,1 mm | 12,5 mm |
9673 | 19 mm | 12,75 mm |
10742 | 22,1 mm | 13,3 mm |
