Factory-new-old-stock set of 1½ inch SU HS4 carburetors as fitted to, amongst others, the:

  Tags: AUD325F and AUD325R

These carburetters, that replace the above mentioned with tags AUD325F and AUD325R, are built by the original SU Carburetter Company in the United Kingdom.

As demand far exceeds supply, production lead times can sometimes exceed even a year for certain carbs...

However, we managed to lay our hands on this new-old-stock set with this specific specification.

It was purchased around the millennium change by the previous owner from Anglo Parts with the intention to mount them on his "MGB under-restoration".

Said MGB is still "under restoration" 2 decades later and the owner decided to part with the carbs and sold them to us, still in their original box.

As you can see, they are untouched and were originally purchased at "Anglo parts".
They are still in business and nowadays a similar set sets you back the royal sum of US$ 1470 excluding taxes!

Just imagine they joy of driving around with brand spanking new carbs on your classic car! That should make it well worth the wait!
