AZX1307
Factory-Original SU AZX 1307 Fuel pump - Dual Polarity.

Introduced in 1959 as the "300 Series", the "round housing" pump superseded the "square" LCS (Large Capacity Square) pump.

For good order's sake: this is an electric fuel pump, suitable for both polarities (so as well as Negative Mass as Positive Mass).
This unlike the electronic fuel pumps!

It is a 12 Volt pump with a capacity of 15 Imperial Gallons / 68 Liters / 18 American Gallons and equipped with the standard SU connectors as shown in the photographs.

Measured outgoing pressure: 0.25 Bar.

IMPORTANT!
The difference between this AZX1307 pump here and the AZX1308 pump is very small but important.

The AZX1308 was normally intended to be fitted in a "dry" area of the car, for example the boot. The coil housing (the black part in our photos) needs to be vented and in case of the 1308, it has a fairly simply breather vent at the top of the pump in our pictures.

The AZX1307 was normally fitted in a "wet" area of the car such as in a wheel arch or under the car.

Venting in that atmosphere is not advisable and so the 1307 is fitted with a small union which allows the fitting of a vent line which would vent into a dry area.
